HELENA 38 is a modern design with a traditional character. The lines, sail plan, keel and rudder, incorporate contemporary technology, but the HELENA looks like a much more traditional yacht and combines high performance, easy handling and the spacious interior with the characteristics of classic sailing yachts. The use of traditional shipbuilding materials combined with the latest building techniques significantly reduces maintenance, especially when compared to older boats on the market.
HELENA has a much more pronounced line than modern designs with a conventional positive rake transom and a longer superstructure.
The sail plan and deck plan with large lap winches, 7/8 rigging, large, fully battened mainsail with a high aspect jib, ensuring optimum aerodynamic propulsion.
