Randell One-off 52 (1976) - Price on request

This aluminium one-off cruiser/racer has already made several ocean crossings, built in Australia and now available to view in the Netherlands. The hull is a classic s-frame, with long overhanging stern, and she has a safe deep cockpit with steering wheel. The ship has new sails, recent rigging and a new engine. The keel is shortened to 1.80 m and has a fin that contains part of the lead ballast.  The current owner has sailed the ship many miles around the North Sea from Den Helder.

The open interior is in teak and equipped for up to 8 people. Directly at the entrance to port is a seating area and a spacious chart table, with a quarter berth / bench behind it. To starboard is the wet cell and next to it a spacious galley, with gas stove/oven. Further to fore is  cabin with table, two long benches and two berths behind the benches. In the bow there are also two beds in a separate cabin, with a toilet in the bow. Under the raised cabin roof at the chart table and galley the headroom is more than 2m, in the rest of the ship it is 1.85m.

The ship is cutter rigged and has besides some older sails a complete set of new sails. Both the genoa and the cutterjib are on a roll. The long waterline with the large sails and light aluminium construction ensures high daily averages. The five-cylinder Nanni diesel also makes the ship sail well under engine. The engine of the bow thruster has been overhauled, but still needs to be mounted as does the radar.

Broker's comments: A beautifully lined, classic ocean yacht with lots of space. Besides the new sails, engine and recent rigging, the ship is in reasonable condition, but needs some attention due to illness of the owner.
